DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee will:
Starting clinical rounds on patients together with the Registrars / Residents by the end of the morning report, and before being joined by the concerned consultant.
Counselling and guiding patients and their parents, guardians or caregivers regarding diet, essential activities for treating complications, hygienic and disease preclusions.
Collecting, recording and maintaining details of the patient’s information like clinical history, Physical signs, Lab and Radiology reports and test outcomes.
Analysing patients on a regular basis to evaluate physician and mental growth and development.
Performing and interpreting diagnostic examinations to get essential data of the patient’s medical conditions.
Explicating process and procedures and discussing exam outcomes or suggested treatments with patients and their caretakers.
Supervising the condition of patients and altering and reassessing treatments as necessary.
Planning and executing medical care programs to help in mental and emotional development of infants and teenagers,
Dictating or administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations and other particularized medical care to treat or preclude illnesses, disorders or injuries in infants and teens.
Share actively in patient & family education in collaboration with all related other healthcare givers.
Comply with the standards laid down by the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards (JCIA), performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation.
Through the chain of command and/or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the Hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put patients, staff or visitors at risk for injury or other harm.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
المهارات
EDUCATION/LICENSURE:
Education & Licensure:
Arab Board, Saudi Board, MRCP (CCT), and American Board, Canadian Board or FACHARZT or equivalent degree recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
Maintains a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties license as Pediatric Registrar.
BLS, PALS and Saudi Neonatal Resuscitation Program (SNRP) is a must.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a full time resident in a recognized hospital after his/her medical degree.
SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE:
Must be emotionally stable and in good physical health.
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint Presentations, Outlook and Word.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely in both Arabic and English.
