الوصف الوظيفي Refer ER patients to appropriate medical practitioners. Collaborates with other medical practitioners, nurses and other staff disciplines in the management and care of ER patients. Immediately responds to hospital codes e.g. Code Blue etc. Assist residents in managing ER patients when necessary. Review documentation of Medico-Legal cases accomplished by residents on duty. Participates and attends CME activities, medical staff, and departmental meetings. Implements and adheres to ER Department, Hospital policies and procedures, protocols, and other guidelines relative to EMD patient care services. 4.10 Clearly and legibly documents patient assessments, documentation treatment and diagnostic orders. May help in triaging out none emergency patients during duty hours in case of resistant patients when ER Residents is not available. Work harmoniously with the other hospital staff and maintain professionalism and/or adheres to the hospital code of conduct. Reports to the ER Consultants any difficulties and problems encountered in managing ER patients and or any dispute with other colleagues. 4.14 Adheres to the duties and responsibilities delegated by the ER Section Head and/or ER Consultants. 4.15 Share actively in patient & family education in collaboration with all related other healthcare givers. Comply with the standards laid down by the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards (JCIA), performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation. Through the chain of command and /or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitor and situation that put patients, staff and visitors at risk for injury or other harm. Perform other applicable task and duties assigned with the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities. المهارات Saudi Board, Arab Board or equivalent degree recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Maintains a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties license as Senior Registrar/Registrar. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 6.1 Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a full time Resident in a recognised hospital after basic medical degree. SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE: Must be emotionally stable and in good physical health. Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint Presentations, Outlook and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely in both Arabic and English |
