الوصف الوظيفي Performs general and specialized radiologic procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative prescribing ionizing radiation. Administers contrast media to patients requiring same in dynamic investigations of the gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract and other examinations to demonstrate the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the area. Assists in patient emergencies following reactions to contrast media. Practices sterile techniques where applicable and observes all infection control methods as stipulated in the Infection Control manual. Cooperates with all personnel in maintain professional conduct of the department and maintains correct ethical relationships. Provides on-call services after regular hours of duty as required. Take part in teaching and training Radiology trainees and residents from other medical departments. Share actively in patient & family education in collaborative with all related other healthcare givers. Comply with the standards laid down by the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards (JCIA), performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation. Through the chain of command and/or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put patients, staff or visitors at risk for injury or other harm. Perform other applicable tasks assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and ability. المهارات Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine. Saudi Board, Arab Board or equivalent degree recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Maintains a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties license (SCFHS) as Radiology Senior Registrar/Registrar. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience practicing in a recognised Radiology post after basic medical degree. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of English is essential; knowledge of spoken Arabic is desirable but no essential. Background of good physical and mental well-being.
