JOB DESCRIPTION · Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. · Outstanding Photography Skills/ Knowledge, must have Studio Build & Lighting knowledge. · Technically strong- Advanced knowledge of studio lighting systems, Canon or Nikon DSLR systems, advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Lightroom). · Advanced post-editing photos including resizing, retouching, color correcting, straightening and cropping, etc. · Create Photography Style guide and implement consistent Product Branding across different ranges. · Quality focused- Strong visual skills with exceptional attention to details. · Work with Product Managers to shoot, edit process high-quality images ready for upload. · Work with Managers to Create Product Feature / Call Out pictures with clear and easy to understand illustrations. · Shoot Hero Product photography & range of Lifestyle-in-use environment & functional photos. · Explain Product use — The who, where, how & product benefits - through visually appealing and easy to understand photography and illustrations. · Liaising with Management & e-Commerce team, discussing briefs, proposing graphical solutions to various communication needs and conceptualizing ideas. · Work closely with Product Managers + Communicate with other editors/photographers to keep brand consistency and high quality per company standards. · Creative thinking and development of new design concepts. · Must have the ability to have images edited and delivered on short notice as well as meet all other deadlines provided. · Problem solver- you can quickly identify and solve technical problems. · Extremely organized, goal oriented and have the ability to work on multi projects simultaneously. Required Candidate profile · Must have Bachelor’s degree or above · Excellent communication skills both written and oral, ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. · Well-organized; time management skills a must · Sense of urgency and ability to multitask and prioritize key projects · Working knowledge of, and confidence in, Excel-type spreadsheets · Working knowledge of professional digital photography equipment, along with current best practices methods for RAW digital workflow, including terminology, color correction and studio lighting desired · Proficient with Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop and Lightroom) · 3-5 years’ experience in digital photography workflow desired · Portfolio review of relevant work required · Comfortable with team-based work environment, willing to be flexible on the job · Demonstrate initiative and provide follow through on areas of responsibility · Open to feedback and daily changes · A positive and professional attitude as well as a consistent work ethic · Enthusiasm and passion for photography required · Acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines a must · Proven ability to maintain schedules and meet deadlines
