Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GPO).
Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting trot registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s Instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Observe and maintain that local legislation and company rules for Health and Safety are obeyed at all times.
• Commitment for SEES Production System implementation.
• Pursue the work instruction that has been instructed and conducted by the team leader.
• Oriented and trained by the team leader regarding proper handling of bending machine and tools.
• Provide information to team leader on any unforeseen shortages, defects, discrepancies noticed on the job.
• Implementation of 55 system within the work area and other tools of Schneider Production System.
• Practice ergonomics directives and flexibility in workload.
• Commitment for continuous improvement
