Job description / Role
We are looking for a group financial controller for our client. They are a large publicly listed company in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be qualified accountant with 10-15 years of demonstrated previous experience in a senior financial controlling role liaising and influencing Board of Directors with international/ regional exposure, ideally with a public listed Retail/FMCG company.
Job Description:
* Ensure group financial targets are being followed up & embedded in all business unit plans
* Ensure the Company’s compliance with financial and legal regulations by ensuring the group is updated with the latest regulations
* Provide overall direction for new ventures relevant to the Financial arena by carrying out financial analysis with the support of investment departments for ventures
* Make financial recommendations to the group CFO on financial reports and special analysis to ensure business goals
* Review Group funding requirements, and arrange for any borrowing requirements by reviewing and challenging long term requirements of the operating company
* Assist the Group CFO in preparing for Board & Shareholder reports by providing analysis & explanations on financial indicators & elements to ensure the Board & Shareholders / Regulatory authorities are fully aware of any significant items
Requirements
Qualification:
* B.Sc. in Finance or Accountancy
* Chartered Accountant or Management Accountant
* With 10-15 years post qualification experience at a senior-level
* Must come from a retail/FMCG publicly-listed company
* Proficient in both Arabic and English
* Saudi Nationals preferred
