-Assessment and analysis of existing conditions and past trends regarding population and employment, housing, commercial facilities and educational facilities.
-Coordination with the Investment Promotion Department in developing industrial forecasts and providing direction to the Planning and Budget -Department in preparing forecasts for employment, population and related parameters.
-In cooperation with other team members and the Client, formulation and evaluation of alternative development scenarios for Jazan City.
-Preparation of goals, objectives with respect to the overall structure and image of Jazan City.
-Analysis of the City’s development in the context of regional growth to include analysis of past trends, existing conditions and forecasts of future development on a sub regional basis.
-Analysis of specific strategic issues, such as labor camps, waterfront development and the community expansion area.
-Preparation and analysis of elements pertaining to economic diversification.
-Preparation of assigned elements, including population and employment, housing, commercial facilities and educational facilities, of the Citywide -Master Plan and the City, incorporating report text and mapping.
-Analysis and recommendations regarding growth issues beyond the Client’s boundaries.
-Providing the analytical basis for land use recommendations for the City.
-Assistance to the Master Plan/City development Team and the Client in other areas of planning and analysis as needed, including preparation of special reports and representations.
المهارات
Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Urban Planning with a maximum of 0 - 2 years of experience in urban planning field.
