KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
SOA Consultation & Requirement Elicitation
-Work with user community providing excellent user support for Oracle Service Oriented Architecture applications and related business processes.
-Gather and analyze business requirements and prepare functional design documents.
-Execute and implement solutions as per the business requirement with the deployment of new and enhanced functionality and business flow.
-Investigate and resolve complex problems through research and functional analysis.
-Provide continual assessment and review of unit testing and integration plans to ensure the solutions meet the business need and are working as designed.
-Effectively communicate project status information, design discussions and issues with project team comprised of resources from IT, consultants and end users.
-Perform root cause analysis for frequently occurring issues and provide a permanent fix
-Evaluate requirements from users, prepare change requests for
approval by change management with solution approach, with effort and cost estimates
-Review functional setups & configuration and take corrective action
-Raise support tickets with Oracle support and follow up for a solution
-Coordinate with Oracle support, DBA, Technical consultant and other Functional consultants for implementing bug fixes through the appropriate processes currently in place.
-Provide user training to users on new functionalities
-Advise management on a roadmap for Application enhancements, identification, implementation of new, advanced functionalities and new modules. (on need basis)
-Advise management on a roadmap for Application and database upgrade, implementation of newer features (on need basis)
Business Application Development and Administration
-Prepare design – Functional and Technical Architecture
-Work with technical team in reviewing technical specifications and translating technical issues/requests in a manner that can be understood by the business users, and vice versa.
-Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
-Provide level (4) support for any escalated with the users, handholding and respond to queries.
-Must have problem-solving and conflict management skills to ensure change management issues can be resolved quickly and effectively
-Manage assigned internal and external resources appropriate to the implementation of project related activities.
Reporting
-Provide periodic status report to management (weekly, monthly)
-Provide and prepare project status reports.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
Minimum Experience
-At least 8-year experience in the IT field
-At least 5-year experience in Oracle Services Oriented Architecture.
* Strong clarity in fundamental supporting technologies and specs. – XSD, XPath, XSLT, XQuery, Webservices (WSDL, SOAP/ XML; REST/JSON protocols)
* Strong hands-on in integration flow development using: BPEL, Mediator, Oracle Service Bus, Concept of SOA-MDS, Fault Handling Framework,
* Understanding of Oracle SOA Suite & OSB11g product capability and limitations
* Thorough knowledge of SOA Deployment and code migration at an enterprise level [using ANT scripts, Jenkins etc.]
* Overall understanding of Weblogic server admin tasks
* Basic PL/ SQL
Other requirements
-Good knowledge and experience in the Oracle OUM
-PMP or PRINCE 2 Certification will be an asset.
-ITIL Service Management Certification will be valuable.
-Good knowledge in oracle-Business Suite
-Ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams with varying degrees of technical experience.
-Must work under minimal supervision
-Proven ability to efficiently build relationships with key stakeholders, -set direction and motivate teams.
-Solid influencing skills.
-Experience with Oracle EBS
-Experience in other ERP systems would be considered an asset.
-Proven Experience In: Design, plan, direct the execution and complete the project that includes the development of a Project Charter, and the management of the project including scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
