Applicants must have minimum of Higher National Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering Must have a minimum of 10years working experience in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of fixed plant field instruments and PLC
المهارات
Considerable knowledge in various types of field instruments (eg. proximity sensors, temperature transmitters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, various controllers, weightometers, etc)
Routine maintenance including but not limited to the following:
Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation schematic diagrams
Troubleshooting to determines if instrument has failed or if it is a process problem;
Calibration and replacement of faulty instrumentation equipment/devices with the use of appropriate test instrument
Must be able to calibrate the following instruments: RTDs/Temperature Transmitters, Level Transmitters, Flow Transmitters, Pressure Transmitters
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain belt weightometers and train weighing scales
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and maintain Allen Bradley (Rockwell) VSDs
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot control system faults with Allen Bradley PLCs
Troubleshooting and maintenance of hardwire relay logic, motor control circuits and motor power supply circuits
Installation of new control circuits, modification of existing electrical/instrument systems as required Ability and willingness to troubleshoot and maintain other ancillary equipment of the mine
