To Create and modify computer programs by converting project requirements into code in order to meet Nesma business needs
1. Operations
Develop new software applications in partnership with system analysts
Upgrade existing software as per Nesma business needs
Test software to ensure the code is correct, fixing (‘debugging’) errors where they occur, and rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct
Confirms program requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst, supervisor, and end user
Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic
Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language
Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions
Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions
2. Policies, Processes, and Procedures
Follow all relevant IT department’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within Nesma and Partners
3. Safety, Health, and Environment
Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls Report on changes within Nesma and Partners that impact relevant safety, health and environment all management policies, procedures and controls

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any equivalent
