Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canada’s expertise and international track records as one of Canada’s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions. Applications are invited for the position of Foundation Math Instructor, Niagara College KSA, Al Ahsa female campus. Reporting to the Foundation Chair, the Foundation Math Instructor is responsible for providing academic leadership to faculty and developing an effective learning environment for students. All courses will be taught using the English language.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Teaching non-native English speaking learners of various abilities and levels
Participating in the development of the course curriculum and the production of high quality teaching and learning resources, including resources in electronic formats
Integrating and using technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom
Developing lesson plans, course outlines and teaching and learning plans in accordance with Niagara College practices
Developing a variety of assessment tools and assessing student work in compliance with Niagara College practices and Saudi Skills Standards requirements
Maintaining records of student achievements and reporting results of student assessments in accordance with Niagara College practices and in compliance with Saudi Skills Standards record management system requirements
Interacting with people at all levels of the organization
The successful applicant will require the following qualifications, at a minimum:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or a related subject is required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in teaching Mathematics in a post-secondary environment
Non-native speakers of English should possess an IELTS 6.5 academic certificate or equivalent as determined by Niagara College
TEFL/TESL teaching qualifications equivalent to CELTA level or above are preferred
Superior knowledge of computer applications relevant to the workplace
Demonstrated ability in the use of technology in a variety of formats to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom
Exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to create a learning environment that promotes and enhances student motivation
Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to function as a team player within a multi cultural work environment
Ability to work independently and to meet tight deadlines
