Port Engineer

Job Description
 Candidate should have an experience of working as Chief Engineer for AHT or DP Derrick pipe lay, DSV DP Vessels.
 Maintain coordinate repair of machinery and equipment to ensure their optimal working condition.
 Liaise with Vessels’ captain and crew & shore personnel to ensure schedules and budgets are maintained and vessels are operated safely and efficiently.
 Monitor and coordinate the planned maintenance system of Hull and deck engines on a regular basis
 Ensure through up keep of stores and control engine room spare parts
 Responsible for coordination of services, maintenance orders and consumables inventory
 Ensure that the manning resources and dry docking requirements are fully met to ensure timely and cost effective repairs
 Conduct follow up surveys one ah vessel and communicate findings to management
 Report detailed job activities to superintend on a daily basis.
