Plant Engineer - KSA

Job Description
• The incumbent must have a practical, well-rounded knowledge of the fundamentals of civil, mechanical, electrical, process and environmental engineering. In addition, he should have a basic knowledge of business management, statistical analysis, communications and effective supervision skills.
Other responsibilities include (but not limited to):

 Design of facilities and systems

 Construction of facilities and systems

 Installation of facilities, systems, and equipment

 Operation of utilities and services

 Improvement, retrofit, and redesign of facilities, systems, and equipment

 Planning to meet business needs

 Contracting for equipment, materials, and services

 Project management, including planning, estimating, and execution

 Administration of the plant engineering organization and personnel as well as related financial considerations (budgeting, forecasting, cost control), training, and record keeping

 Regulatory compliance with a wide variety of governmental laws and standards

 Coordination of plant engineering activities and responsibilities with all other functions and departments in the organization

 Purchasing of requisite tools, equipment, parts, and materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar engineering position

• Expert understanding of engineering, maintenance, processes and strategies

• Prior experience of steel fabrication and manufacturing environment will be a plus
