Shipping Planner *
*Job description :
- Creates, manages and maintains router system, through systems analysis and programming.
- Creates special customer jobs and system configuration based on contractual, manufacturing and/or business unit needs.
- Mange the re-engineering of router system and prepare a daily dispatch report and shipment analysis
- Collects and analysis all relevant data to include, analyzing, planning, developing and programming comprehensive router jobs to keep cost low, while still keeping productivity and service high.
- Develops and maintains freight rate databases to determine the most economical modes of transportation
- Provides daily oversight of scheduled jobs in each of the established sites to ensure consistent and accurate workflow in regards to customers expectations
- Interprets data on logistic elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, distribution, or transportation.
- Performs a variety of analytical logistics support tasks across sub-systems and equipment.
- Performs analysis, studies, problem identification and resolution in support of customers logistics.
*Job Requirements:
1- Five years of successful experience in the transportation field. Three years of experience as a planner
2-Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor in Supply Chain or Material Management
3-Experienced with SAP and TMS
