Job Description:
The Company:
Our client is one of the largest urban design and civil infrastructure companies, helping the leaders of Saudi Arabia’s cities to better prioritise projects, plan ahead and provide for sustainable growth. They are currently seeking an IT Maintenance Specialist to be based in Riyadh.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Update project team member’s computers, and ensure all IT assets are listed, accounted for and regulated serviced
Provide required access to printers and monitors
Install drives and software as appropriate on staff member’s PC’s
Ensure the IT Network as operations (Plan service maintenance with the PCM)
Manage the IT operations of the Project Team including liaising with Head Office support teams
Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure collaboration across all departments and project locations
Develop the technology strategy and IT planning for the project
Manage and coordinate with the Data Centre (e.g. server room and ProLog) and of choice
Manage and maintain the Data Centre infrastructure including Networks, Communications, Systems and Operations
Evaluate and recommend any necessary upgrades in the network infrastructure to cost effectively develop the buisness systems currently in place
Develop, maintain, control, audit and analyze on an ongoing basis the Data Centre Systems and Networks Infrastructure
Develop adn deliver induction programmes for new employees
Maintain operation of all application software, including facilities managed, network services, outsourcing and associated systems
Experience & Qualifications:
Qualifications in BSc IT, Computer Programming, Computer Science or related field
5 years in Maintenance of computers, networking, hardware engineering etc related
Due to Saudization, Saudi Nationals only will be considered for this position
Specific Skills Required:
Good command of both written and spoken English & Arabic
Capable of managing large-scale ICT systems, understanding of user, O&M;requirements, working with a multi-disciplinary project team woudl be an advantage
Experience in Cabling System, WIFI etc
