Job Description:
About The Company:
Our client provides a full range of project management, engineering, procurement and management services, currently working on more than 11,000 projects for 350+ clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
May assist department manager in providing technical excellence and standards for the department
Prepare work force staffing requirements and process schedules for projects.
Assist in preparing the list of deliverables and estimation for the proposals.
Routinely communicate with Client counterpart on project.
Routinely report job progress status to the HOD and Project Manager.
Supervise work of other Fire protection Engineers assigned to the jobs.
Oversee / review AFDs, Floor Plans and Hydrant network P&IDs;and present to peers or Clients.
Oversee / review Process Equipment specifications and data sheets
Experience & Qualification:
PE registration with a US based NCEES OR UK based chartered engineer NFPA Certified
BSc Engineering accredited degree in Fire Protection.
10 years experience
Lifting and carrying things offshore
May be assigned as a Discipline Technical Authority (DTA); a person identified as an overall technically competent team member able to address technically complex issues & mentor team members with their technical work.
May be assigned as a Subject Matter Expert (SME); a person recognized to possess a high degree of knowledge on a particular subject and/or piece of equipment.
Shall be familiar with the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, Water Spray Fixed Systems Installation of Stationary Pumps, Water Tanks for Private FireProtection, Private Fire Service, Water Based Fire Protection Systems Watercooling Towers, Fire Flow Testing and Marking of Hydrants, Aircraft Hangars,Electric Generating Plant
