Job Description:
The company:
Our client is one of America’s leading consultant companies with over 25 years of experience in providing professional and technical services positioned to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets around the world.
Responsibilities:
Perform design review of design drawings and material specifications based on the designated code, standards and project requirements.
Review of shop drawings and as-built drawings and coordinate with different trades and disciplines.
Responsible for site supervision, inspection and monitoring the day-to-day project progress of all interior and exterior architectural work under the project scope.
Perform quality assurance inspections to identify nonconforming work and issue periodic reports.
Respond to the contractor requests of inspection, technical query’s, site clarifications and coordinate with the project management team to issue a field directive as necessary.
Commission and ensure adequacy of building envelop.
Check quantities and percentage of work completed to date to ensure the calculation accuracy.
Coordinates all architectural issues under the project scope internally with the project management team and externally with the contractors for resolution.
Monitors work flows and schedules.
Competencies:
Extensive knowledge and familiarity with codes and design.
Extensive knowledge with different finishing materials and façade systems.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Advanced in AutoCad.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Architecture
Experience:
7 years’ experience in verifying design against construction for floor plans, interior designs, material specification and final finishing of a facility.
