JOB SUMMARY :Testing & Commissioning of Substation Automation System according to approved site test plans
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Setting up the system at site
2. Carry out point to point test from Field
3. Carry out system tests according to Approved Test Forms and ITPs
4. Carry out system modification, alterations, changes in the system for customer requirement and comments
5. Carry out site training activities for SA systems for the client
6. Carry out closed loop tests from Substation to SACADA
7. Carry out IED Configuration changes in case of changes required in the IED Configuration
8. Follow site test schedules and coordinate with Main contractor and client
9. Coordinate with ABB Sweden, Switzerland for technical support
10. Coordinate with Engineering for system modifications
11. Provide technical support and Feedback to Tendering and Engineering
QUALIFICATION :Engineering Graduates with good communication skills and keen aptitude for learning and hard working.
EDUCATION REQUIRED : Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, communication, Computer Science
EXPERIENCE / LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT : Minimum 3 years experience in Substation Automation Systems, preferably ABB Systems.
Candidates with experience in Testing & Commissioning of protection systems, computer networking, Industrial/process Automation Systems also can apply
Arabic speaking candidates will be given preference.
