Jacobs is delivering engineering and construction management services on a major port project in Dammam. This project includes construction of new terminal buildings, construction of berth, repair and renovation of existing berths, levelling and ground improvement, pavements, ducts and pits for buried services, revetments, quay deck and yard pavement repair, buildings renovation etc.
As a Site inspector you will primarialy be concerned with inspection and quality of marine works inclduing dredging and reclamation works, marine structure such as quay walls, revetments, breakwaters and other rock protection structures and genral marine works construction such as dry works within the marine environment.
You report to and support the Site Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer in supervising the contractor’s daily activities, monitoring and reporting on progress, quality and safety by undertaking inspections and documenting your findings to ensure that the work is being built in accordance with the drawings and specification (Contract).
You will make the Resident Engineer aware of any defects or deficiencies that you observe.
