Boiler operator to perform frequent inspection checks and regular maintenance on boiler systems and related valves, gauges, piping, and equipment.
• Boiler operator constantly inspect water, Fuel and other fluid levels inside boilers and related equipment’s, adjust fluids as necessary to keep systems operating
at peak levels.
• Boiler operator to repair piping, valves, and other boiler machinery as needed
• Boiler operator to replace defective valves, gauges, and other boiler parts as needed.
• Boiler operator record daily gas readings, feed water tests, and other test results.
• Boiler operator to adjust valves and boiler controls as needed to control the amount of pressure in the system and keep the boiler system functioning safely.
• Boiler operator to keep all boiler rooms, related facilities, and work areas clean and Organized at all time.
• Maintains maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting, reading, and interpreting gauges, indicators, and steam flow meters.
• Maintains heaters, pumps, Fuel storage facilities, and Fuel unloading equipment
• Observes boiler plant operations through use of electronic or pneumatic controls, pressure
gauges, and safety devices.
• Supervises or performs the chemical testing and treatment of boiler feed water.
• Maintains various records and reports relative to steam plant operations.
• Exercises supervision over employees allocated to the class of Boiler Operator
• Makes regular checks of plant equipment and makes adjustments, repairs, and services
equipment as required.
• Performs related work as required.
• To co-operate with Maintenance team in times of critical or additional task situation.
