QA/QC Engineer
Job Location : Dammam
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform shop inspections mainly dimensionally, gauging, visual, hardness, NDE etc.
Prepare necessary QC/Inspection/inspection / Test reports for the activities needed for the job orders executed in the workshop.
Report any nonconformance that found during inspection.
Perform shop process inspection as required to support operations.
Witness / inspection of pressure testing of tools that carried out in the shop.
Inspection of thread gauging / inspection for API 7-1 tools threads and API 6A products
Perform weld visual inspection and other inspection activities at the shop whenever necessary.
Familiar with welding AWS specifications, welding defects and able to write the WPS and perform PQR . Also able to perform and maintain welder qualifications.
Ensure NC s are captured, determine RCA and develop preventive action plans.
Perform regular audits (visual inspection) to make sure that all processes are intact with procedures.
Update QA Manager on QA/QC statistics
Perform all necessary activities to achieve Quality objectives set for the Quality department
Compilation of Documentation/Certification packages for completed job orders
Able to communicate well to sub-ordinates & third-party clients / inspectors / surveyors
Any other task that may assigned by direct supervisor / manager
Requirements :
Mechanical Engineer/Diploma Holder with min. 5 years of experience in similar field / position NDT level 2 inspector.
Familiar with API QMS Q1 and ISO specs Minimum of 2 API product Specification & products: API 6A, 16A, 16C, 5CT, & 7-1
