Role Purpose:
The jobholder is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of HR by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides professional HR services on a day-to-day basis, ensuring essential procedures are implemented and standards of practice maintained.
Implements the Manpower Plan after receiving the required approval to ensure the efficient use of resources
Conducts strategic interviews for internal and external candidates along with the lines managers, and provides recommendations to higher management to ensure that the right talent is recruited for the right job
Undertakes performance management responsibilities, for the staff of the area, including setting of individual and team objectives and completing staff appraisals, and taking responsibility for managing delivery
Consults with operational areas to determine if needs are being met in terms of HR services
Serves as communications link with business units, individual employees and HR to anticipate potential problems and improves understanding of the organization’s positions
Participates in collective bargaining negotiations and administers contract provisions at each location
Counsels line managers on how to handle personnel problems in order to improve overall business objectives and organizational performance
Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the personnel, training and labor relations activities of an organization.
Administers compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Education Level: Master, B.S degree
Discipline (First Choice): Business Administration/ HR Management
Discipline (Second Choice): Industrial Engineering/Management
Work Experience:
B.S Degree minimum 8 years of related experience including at least 04 Years in management position in large or medium size organization or Master Degree minimum 6 Years of related experience, including at least 03 Years in management position in large or medium size organization.
Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of HR& Manpower management
Thorough knowledge of Strategic planning
Thorough knowledge of Managing, Planning and organizing.
Thorough knowledge of decision making and problem solving.
Intermediate knowledge of recruiting, training and HR planning
Intermediate Knowledge of Work study and human factor applications
Intermediate knowledge of Local laws and governmental procedures
Skills:

Leadership & directing employees
Presentation skill and building effective teams
