Responsible for the performance, integrity and security of SFHP-D databases, as well as the planning and management of database operations
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Map out the conceptual design for a planned database considering both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users.
Drive overall capacity planning for database storage.
Write database documentation including data standards, procedures and data dictionary definitions.
Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans.
Ensure storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
Develop security and disaster recovery aspects of a database
Drive back-up and recovery plans, ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
Communicate all pertinent information in a timely manner to the Application Development Manager.(added).
Performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation and assures that facility is in compliance with all government, local laws, and accreditation standards.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, trainings and courses.
Adheres to SFHP-D hospital wide and departmental policies and procedures.
Perform other duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
المهارات
Bachelor degree in any related field e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information System, Health Informatics, Information Technology.
Must have at least three (3) years relevant experience.
Database Management and Operations.
Project Management.
Incident Management.
Problem Solving.
Good communication skills both in written and verbal form.
Good reporting and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
