Job Description and Requirements - Responsibility for Project QA/QC management including compliance with contractual requirements and follow-up on project quality strategy. - Responsible to set up quality Management system. Prepares documentation for approval. - Carry out procedure qualification, Welder qualification, NDE qualification, personnel qualification as per guidelines of NOV policy and contract requirements. • Ensure that planning is in accordance with PEM, Gate Reviews are planned and actions from gate reviews are followed and closed. • Responsibility for guiding, supporting, performing and verifying all matters concerning projects’ quality assurance and quality control within projects. • Responsible to train the QA/QC team on Operating Systems as well as on QA/QC procedures, Standards, local regulations etc. • Responsible to give Tender manager, Project manager and Line Manager any & all required support with regards to QA/QC raised by the Client, the sub-contractors & the suppliers. • Assist in tender review activity. • Responsible for giving input to Tender Manager on the Manpower Plan (MPP) and estimation cost for QA/QC activities. • Responsible to give support related to QA/QC to Supply chain department. • Participate in selection of suppliers and assessment audits at supplier facility when required. • Conduct the full process of drafting, verifying, commenting and reviewing of QA/QC documentation provided by customers, internal stakeholders and from suppliers and sub-contractors. • Prepare and implement on the operating system the QA/QC procedures, standard documents and templates. • Ensure root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions are carried out for the project non-conformances. • Ensure Projects Lessons Learnt are Conducted and implemented within projects. • Carry out Internal audit and Client co-ordination for their visits, audits, meeting etc. Business Financial: - Execute work with in the time frame, - Ensure maximum output / productivity Strategy: - Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, procedures and improve operational performance Methods: - Utilize the project execution model, carry out tasks given in accordance to the company policies, procedures, etc. Communicate, integrate and cooperate with other discipline to achieve the common goals Competencies and manning: - Is familiar with the principle of good fabrication practice - Is familiar with PEM, Project Execution: - Execute the projects according to PEM. - Follow-up activities of fabrication & identify what’s coming & take necessary preventive action. Colleague: - Work closely with team members within the discipline to ensure the product is in compliance to the project requirements - Good team spirits The Company: - Reports to the Quality Manager - Work closely with engineering team to ensure latest information is available on the ground level (working level). Management and Leadership - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to plan and organize work flow in efficient manner - Graduate of a recognized university or technology institute with a bachelor degree or Diploma (3 years regular) in Mechanical / Metallurgy Engineering discipline. - Lead Auditor EXPERIENCE - 15 years minimum experience in Inspection & Testing, preferably with Fabrication Company. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Associates degree or equivalent experience - Experience and ability to use: Microsoft Office, Autodesk, Adobe, EPR and Ability to images in various formats. - Strong written and verbal communication - ability to wear many hats as you interact with a wide variety of engineering disciplines and internal - Ability to carry out Internal audits to access vendor management system. |
