Job Description and Requirements
SUMMARY
Should assists in planning, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electronics and electrical equipment or machinery. The responsibilities also require background in electronic technology, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented personality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain all manufacturing machines and equipment to operate efficiently. (Include: Extruders, pullers, vacuum system, chillers, silos, suction system, rotatory winders, compressors, boilers, pumps, ovens, hydraulic systems, etc.)
Should be able to trouble shoot problems in complicated electrical grids, isolate the issue and solve it.
Maintain the facility, when it calls in support as required like electrical, electronic, AC, etc.
Install new machines/equipment and fabricate jigs/fixtures as required.
Should be able to work on basic machines in machine shop.
Maintain records of each machine separately, related to all maintenance activities, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, etc.
Maintain required inventory of spares, for cost effective operation.
Plan, schedule and complete “Preventative Maintenance Program”.
Coordinate for special projects as directed by the supervisors/ Manager.
Assist in monitoring all works being performed by outside contractors.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service calls.
Ensure proper housekeeping and control of machines and equipment.
Comply with all Company and HSE related policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or Technical electrical education.
Electrical theory and practices.
Effective communication (ability to report and communicate).
Minimum 10 years of experience working as an industrial technician, preferably in middle east.
Strong computer skills (Outlook & MS office).
Good in English - ability to communicate with ease. (Arabic language would be added advantage)
Experience & Knowledge working with QMS.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
Requires working in shifts.
