Position Overview:
Fast growing Bakery & Pastry Company and we need a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to be thriving with experience and talents, to be able to lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective.
Our ideal candidate has extensive experience within the industry, perhaps having worked your way up through the ranks to your role as an executive.

Objectives of this Role• Setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
• Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
• Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
• Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retentionDaily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary
• Working together with key participants to compile the budget.
• Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
• Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
• Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address theft and other losses.
• Monitoring invoices, money handling procedures, accounting and bank processes.
• Preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports.
• Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices.
• Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
• Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.
• Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner.
• Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
• Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
• Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed
• Directly oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term
• Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability
• Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
• Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Monitor company finance in day to day basis enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary to enhance sales, cut cost and profitability
• Creating new products and developing existing products for the enhancement of the sales and customer traffics• Developing and enhancing identity brand

Skills and Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance related field
• 5+ years’ experience in executive leadership positions in Bakery and Pastry Business
• Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
• Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
• A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
• Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, FDA and other Food Safety guidelines.
• Knowledge and experience with the Manufacturing and Bakery Excellence model a plus
• Bi-lingual in Arabic and English is preferredPreferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in business or related field
• Fundraising experience
• International business experience
