Health Informatics Technician

الوصف الوظيفي
Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient files plus rendering quick, accurate, complete and courteous customer service. Perform a variety of functions designed to update, store, retrieve and track all aspects associated with the timely provision of a patient’s complete medical record file for treatment, research and/or administrative uses.

In addition, using Hospital documentation standards, review discharged in-patient, day surgery and endoscopy patients’ records to identify documentation deficiencies. Determine which physician is responsible for completing each one of the noted deficiencies. Verify and complete all computerized patient specific abstracts. Update and maintain both the physician delinquency system and the computerized physician deficiency system. Review patients’ files for a variety of handwritten physician reports to confirm physician completion of the noted deficiencies and ensure designated entries are in compliance with the hospital’s standards of document content
