• You are responsible to support your department in maximizing its efforts for providing best services to whole company in relation with procedures which requires direct involvement of government departments
• Manage the daily routine work of the Government Relations
Representatives (GRR) and ensuring that each executes his daily assignment professionally and on timely basis.
• Controlling the in and out and the safe custody of the employees’ passports and Iqamas.
• Overseeing employee notification in ample time of iqama near expiry and taking action.
• Ensuring that Iqamas & work permits issued, renewed, and canceled on time to avoid imposing fines on the company.
• Ensuring that the company is not paying fines against no or late renewal of iqama or any other documents unless approved by HR Director.
• Preparing visas files & following up with Labor Office until obtaining the visas.
• You should develop and maintain excellent relations with the Passports Department, Labor Office, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure updated information about new regulations.
• Keeping updating employee information in the Co. system.
• Ensure duly signed passport issuing request form while releasing employees’ passports and keeping following up with employees until passports are restored again.
• Preparing the weekly, monthly & yearly Government Relations reports.
• Reviewing performance of department staff and determining training needs.
• Monitoring department staff attendance and punctuality & taking corrective behavioral action, if necessary.
• Performing any other duties and responsibilities to be assigned to him by the HR Manager.• Performs other duties and responsibilities in your department of responsibility as required for smooth and efficient operation

Education & Experience
• Minimum 7 years’ Experience in working with government relations department preferably in large organization.
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any other equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
Communication skills
• Must be able to speak and understand English & Arabic
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to share knowledge and learning
• Must have ability and sense of active learning
Leadership skills
• Must have proven leadership abilities and lead by example
• Able to accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively within high stress situations• Must have the ability to create an environment where the company values are a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of employees and visitors.
