Performs routine and complex maintenance and repairs all fire fighting pumps and complete the related
reports.
Performs routine check and test for the fire fighting pumps set.
Ability to recognize the status of the fire pumps through vibration, noise, heat, leakage etc. And do the
required maintenance.
Lead, instruct, or review the work of entry level technicians.
Ability to assemble and reassemble pumps, impellers, shafts, Gland and mechanical seals ... etc.
Ability to do lubrication, cleaning and changing the expired oils as needed.
Ability to do pressure switches setting
Ability to connect and disconnect electrical motors wires.
Ability to check, test and repair diesel pumps such as injector, starter, solenoid cut off valve, and all
related mechanical works to keep the diesel pump in service.
Ability to check, replace the control panel’s components of the fire pumps set (such as relays, contactors,
breakers .... etc).
Ability to do pumps alignments.
Checking the validity and condition of all safety equipment available in site.
Performing any additional job -related tasks assigned by direct manager.
