The incumbent will serve as CCL and data dictionary resource person to meet data extraction and data linkages using SQL and other scripting/programming languages
Data Extraction
Contribute to development of MS SQL Server databases and data collection systems which automate the retrieval, storage and integration of data sets for health intelligence
Understand the clinical and administrative processes and systems that create and consume data used for reporting, contribute to the collation of a health informatics data dictionary and business rule register
Work with other team members to support them to present their own reports to relevant audiences, including training and providing self-service options where appropriate
SQL Analysts collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to analyses and program their requirements for business intelligence metrics, visualizations and reporting.
Create datasets and DataMart required for various reporting and dashboards by using SQL Programming knowledge
Data Governance
Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.
Apply data governance principles while extracting data from different systems
Patient Safety Commitment
Ensure that the aspects of patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement are embedded in all the processes under are of responsibility.
Foster a culture of safety, where staff feels encouraged to raise concerns and report incidents without fear of disciplinary procedure.
To develop a culture of learning and encourage staff to learn from defects. Learning should lead to continuous process improvement.
To collaborate with other leaders for Patient safety.
المهارات
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or Health Information Management.
Certification, license or training Requirements
Certification in CCL scripting/Pandas/SQL
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 6 years of experience, of which minimum 2 years’ experience in data analytics using SQL/CCL
Skills Requirements
Knowledge in healthcare data definitions
Knowledge in healthcare processes
Personal drive, commitment and being a self-starter.
Prioritizing workload and meeting tight deadlines with high quality output.
Organized and Multi-tasking skills
Ability to work effectively with a variety of groups
