IT Service Continuity Analyst
OVERVIEW
The IT Service Continuity Analyst role within the Executive Director Office is an important role. this role will ensure that primary department functions. reporting output and key activities are managed in an efficient manner. In addition, the SC Analyst will provide coordination, administrative and supporting activity to the Service Continuity function and IT Executive Office Programme Management Specialist as required
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a wide variety of Complex and confidential tasks to support key Service Continuity outputs Responsible for the facilitation coordination, monitoring and enhancement of Service Continuity operational processes
Responsible for initiating and tracking activities related to Service continuity testing plan. Responsible for day-to-day management, development, enhancement, and accuracy of Service Continuity lifecycle tracking and cross departmental reporting outputs.
Provide input and support to the development of testing exercises during various part of the Service
Continuity process lifecycle.
Coordination, custody and archiving of tender submission documentation and clarifications a
required
Ensure Service Continuity documental on are up to date and meet the deadlines of the Service Continuity annual plan such as continuity plan, focal points list, BIA, RPO/RTO & RTA.
Responsible for maintaining a central repository of disaster recovery information artifacts, plans. test results, contact lists and other critical information required to manage an adverse event and keeping it up to date
Responsible for developing documentation related to Service Continuity testing exercise. coordinate activities with internal team and 3rd party providers and others to plan, exercise and execute disaster recovery procedures
Direct activities of 3rd party providers to ensure that regular updates are occurring to technology recovery standards and recovery procedures compliant with our underlying quality commitments. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure all established timelines are met for the Service Continuity activities.
Assists Executive Office Programme Management Specialist in preparing and formatting documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
General responsibilities also include administrative duties such as document management, coordination of meeting, workshop, minutes of meeting, keeping inventory of systems services and focal points, and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Office Programme Management Specialist.
Confidentially, excellent communication or, and organizational skills are essential.
Interacting with Senior executives, interdepartmental management, QF entities, Vendors, and partners with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism.
Demonstrate high-level of attention to detail
Observe and apply strict levels or confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to the performance of the role.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong knowledge and experience in IT services and Service Continuity activity
Able to collect and interpret complex data. must be able to read. Write and understand technical documentation. Service contracts and services
Excellent organization skills with ability to work unsupervised on multiple initiatives
High level administrative and clerical skills
Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication, Coordination. providing work leadership. Training and other high-level interactions
Ability to handle the most complex situations across multiple teams and departments.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency. Initiative, responsiveness, and attention to detail
Strong written. verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment Proven ab1l1ty to deliver tasks on· time and adherence to deadlines
Proficiency with MS Office applications with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Excellent problem-solving skills. analytical thinking.
Fluency in English. Written and oral
Excellent command of English and grammar ad business Writing
EXPERIENCE.
· 5 Year of relevant full time work experience.
Education & Certification:
Certification and Accreditation that support the area of expertise
Beneficial Service Continuity Foundation.
Beneficial ITIL Foundation, COBIT -19 and 1S027001 knowledge
Beneficial cloud certifications AZ900 or equivalent.
