The increasing competition on the Qatar market, fast growing global digitalisation and numerous channels available and utilised for marketing purposes, have made the creative content, digital advertisement and well defined branding essential for maintaining and/or increasing market share. The Digital Content Creator at Al Maktab Al Qatari Al Hollandi W.L.L. / Plaza Hollandi will play a key role in creating and delivering engaging and inspiring content across our range of digital channels like websites, social media and other platforms. Ensuring our digital presence supports and enhances our business offering and delivers our messages effectively. Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for the following duties: General: ● Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms, creating inspirational, informative and engaging content. ● Plan, produce and create a program of digital content to be used across all our digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders. ● Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends. ● Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualising your findings. ● Participate in regular departmental and cross departmental progress meetings. ● Train and share knowledge with internal teams wherever possible to empower them to manage their own areas with ad-hoc support. ● Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal design team when necessary. Ecommerce ● Contribute to website development and optimisation; identify the areas for improvement. ● Using social media to engage consumer المهارات ● Degree in field of marketing and communication or online/digital marketing or a similar field. ● Experience in creating strong, engaging content for different digital channels like social, search, web and blogs. ● A portfolio of applicable outputs. ● An understanding of SEO best practices. ● Experience with content management systems (WordPress). Competencies: ● Fluency, both written and verbal, in Arabic and knowledge of the English language is required. ● Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing. ● Excellent research, organisational, and time management skills. ● Ability to manage several projects at the same time and look ahead to up-and-coming events. ● Strong listening and communication skills. ● The capacity to work independently and collaboratively. ● Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy. ● Accustomed to a project-based way of working Special notice: ● At least 2 references need to be provided; ● Evaluation of qualified candidates will include an interview ● Salary package will depend on knowledge and experience.
