Job role
Planning and designing auditing projects and necessary tasks to be completed.
Understanding of Manual audit and quality manual.
Industry knowledge and audit best practices to develop an audit strategy.
Understanding and application of IFRS.
Understanding of risk-based auditing.
Understanding of regulatory requirements.
Understanding and compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
Ensuring standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and other financial reports.
Developing strategies for junior auditors to improve their work outputs.
Assisting in the auditing process as and when required.
Remaining up to date with developments in relevant legislation and the field in general.
Reporting auditing issues and assisting in resolving them.
المهارات
Requirements
Minimum of 3-4 years recent work experience as an auditor at an International Auditing Firm preferably Big Four, whilst demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.
Internationally recognized professional accounting qualifications – ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA or other relevant certifications is a plus.
Fluency in English and Arabic, and French is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
Ready to join ASAP.
Experience of entire audit process and ability to independently conclude audits.
Thorough knowledge of auditing techniques including of IFRS standards, ISA standards, audit practices, procedures and reporting standards.
Ability to understand client needs and communicate them.
