A leading Veterinary Center in Qatar has a vacancy for the position of Veterinary Pharmacist/Veterinarian and looking for the qualified candidates listed below;
Has a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Vet Clinic Doctor or Veterinarian
Must have 5 years’ experience in the veterinary medicine/ Vet clinical field
Must have retail and sales management experience- be able to sell medicine or medical items inside the pharmacy and recommend appropriate medication to customers.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
In charge of diagnosing and treating animals that are ill, injured, or require routine care.
Ensuring that all regulatory directives from the ministry are properly followed, taking inventory, and supervising pharmacy or other support staff members.
Promotes health of animals by advising animal owners about sanitation measures, feeding, and general care
Ensures that the quality of the professional services is maintained.
Must enjoy and be comfortable working with all animals, temperaments and breeds, including handling and lifting animals as necessary
Experience conducting various types of surgeries, vaccinations and health checks on animals
Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g. X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures
Perform administrative duties such as accepting payments from clients or customer (cashier) taking inventory every month to ensure that the actual medicines/items are same in the system.
Arrange medicine or items properly in shelf, fridge, or freezer, and ensure that no expired medicine or items are present. Including a sticker code in each item or medicine, for example.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language
· Availability to take evening or weekend shifts in cases of emergency and Able to work independently without direct supervision
