Applicants for this position must possess a thorough knowledge of cigars. A passion for the product is required along with superior sales management skills to drive sales within a specific department
Assists in developing B2B sales “ hotels and restaurant” and providing assistance to customers.
Continues to develop knowledge of store products.
Works as part of a team to keep B2B accounts organized and effectively merchandised; this includes moving, stocking and staging product.
• May be required to assist in other departments

Must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of cigars.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
Ability to attend tasting events and sample product to better assist customers with their selections.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as schedule.
Develop a sustainable cigar program.
Create a PAR stock based on the cigar program and guest preferences.
Create a relationship with suppliers (cigars/cigar accessories) to create theme nights & promotions based on cigars.
Build a local cigar activities database.
Assist in maintaining and improving the Cigar lounges standards of service in selling and serving the Cigars.
Ensure the cigar list is up to date at all times with correct vintages. Able to pair and suggest cigars/wines/spirits that will complement the menu items.
Check all cigar deliveries and store them properly in the humidor.
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the humidor at all times.
Perform other service duties on the request of the General Manager of Food & Beverage, cigar presentation and trainings at daily briefings.
Assist in all cigar stock takes ensuring that all are accounted.
To actively train staff in cigar knowledge, upselling and pairing.
Display professional salesmanship and positive sales techniques at all times.
Maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues throughout the B2B accounts.
Attend departmental briefings and meetings as required.
Assist in keeping operating costs to a minimum by efficient and responsible use of resources such as glassware and other equipment.
Passion and commitment to delivering exceptional levels of guest service.
Ability to work on your own and in teams.
