Duties and Responsibilities.
Assisting the Head Chef with all kitchen operation
Leads in meal preparation and ensures the quality and freshness of all menu items
Ensures compliance with food safety guidelines and regulations
Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications
Ensures that all kitchen team members are trained and developed in line with company’s policies
Completes Food Safety or HACCP documentation
Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff
Requirements and Qualification.
The candidate should have at least 2 years’ culinary management experience
Should have any culinary certification or relevant certification
Excellent knowledge of quality food preparation
Certified supervising food safety in catering level 3 or Serve Safe certificated is a plus
With transferable visa and NOC
