Job Overview:
Effectively conducts and facilitates assigned QHSES courses and assesses participants on defined learning outcomes/ criteria.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Complete necessary Train-the-Trainer programs
Deliver and assess courses with integrity
Complete training documentation (attendance sheet, assessment form, course evaluation form, etc.) for recording
Review course feedback and escalate to Supervisor / Manager when action is required
Conduct inspection and ensure training facilities and equipment are well maintained
Prepare and conduct risk assessments when practical / hands-on demonstration and assessment are needed
Assist on the QHSES curriculum design and development
Assist on the evaluation of third-party training providers when required
Assist on the monitoring of key performance metrics
Develop and maintain QHSES Training equipment maintenance plan (as required)
Comply with the requirements of relevant certifications / standards during training and assessments (as required)
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field
QHSES Trainer: 3+ years of relevant QHSES experience in energy industry
Critical Craft Trainer: 3 years of relevant QHSES experience in critical craft
