Our client is one of the largest integrated Facility Management conglomerates in the GCC with various Business lines ranging from integrated facility management, safety services, security services and landscaping. It is currently looking for a Facility Engineer to join its team in Doha, Qatar.
The candidate should assist in the effective operations of the company, perform facility management engineering activities, maintain clients’ contacts and relationship with contractors, inspect facilities conditions and provide repair solutions. He should also compile with rules and regulations and meet safety and security standards.
Facility Manager Responsibilities:
• To assist the contractor and clients in the effective operations of the Facilities Management Company
• Ensure that all company standards of quality are always maintained whilst meeting the need of the business
• Assist the Operations Manager to provide facilities engineering/management activities, the functional operations of the facilities and maintenance service and support (this includes corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, as well as capital projects, plant operations, subcontract management and space management assistance)
• Manage client contracts and contractors, and maintain review process for contracts (e.g., waste management, sprinkler systems, and plant alarm systems, Safety, CCTV, HVAC, Electrical, and Gas.)
• Evaluate facility conditions and develop strategies for sustainment and repairs both short and long term
• Provide estimates for repairs and renovations
• Inspect existing facilities to ascertain their condition and prepare reports depicting the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs, and estimated cost of repairs. Provide whole life cycle analysis on the building condition assessment including flooring/roofing/architectural elements
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards
• Support IT Facilities equipment and systems including, A/C, UPS, CCTV, Fire system, leak detection and environment monitoring and work with service providers to support repair or preventive maintenance work
• Coordinate power deployment to cabinets and racks including whips and breakers
• Work as the focal interface between operations team and multiple subcontractor partners in coordination with the operations technical team.
• Manage site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements
Is responsible for the provision of weekly / monthly reporting to the client
• Assist with operations maintenance activities as necessary
المهارات
• Has a bachelor’s degree in chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building/ Facilities Management or equivalent
• Has Knowledge of building construction processes and procedures, equipment, tools, materials, and their application
• Has 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in facilities engineering/ management
• Ha knowledge of HVAC, UPS’s Systems, and Building Management System
• Is computer literate in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
• Has (BMS) experience within a business critical environment
