As a senior Network and security Engineer, candidate will be responsible for managing Company’s network including but not limited to Cisco routers, Cisco Switches 3750/6500, Cisco and Palo alto Firewalls, LAN/WAN/wireless administration, IPS, HP NMS etc. and with the ability to troubleshoot and complete complex network design.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor LAN/WAN and associated equipment.
Manage and monitor Network Security infrastructure.
Manage and monitor wireless LAN infrastructure including Cisco Wireless Access points and LAN Controllers.
Design and implement LAN/WAN using switching and router technology.
Generate Network Monitoring/performance report for LAN/WAN utilization.
Configuration and installation of Cisco layer3/layer2 switches, routers and Firewalls.
Fine tuning firewall policies based on requirements.
Configuration of VPN (IPSEC, site-to-site, SSL).
Monitoring and fine tuning the IPS signature.
Generating reports based on the security events generated by firewalls, IPS, ACS etc.
Managing Cisco ACS and NAC.
Monitoring WAN, LAN and base line trending.
Network troubleshooting skills.
Liaison with Q-Tel and Q-ICTA for various network configurations and troubleshooting.
Managing juniors and assigning them with appropriate tasks.
Accountabilities:
The job holder is accountable and will be responsible for all the network equipment’s, connectivity, configuration, for all offices. He should have the ability to acquire latest technologies and provide innovative ideas to improve the network standards and security measures.

Education:
Degree graduate/Engineering ideally in Electronics /Communication Technology/ IT or similar.
Experience:
6-8 years
Professional Training:
CCNP (Routing/Switching) and security.
Skills:
Cisco 3750/4500 / 6500 VSS, STP, SPAN, RSPAN, Multicast, Ether Channel, ACL, Inter VLAN routing, SNMP, DHCP.
Routing Protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, and BGP), IPSEC, GRE, MPLS, NAT, QOS, PBR, Redistribution, and summarization.
AAA, TACACS, RADIUS, VPN, ACL, Cisco IDS.
HP Open view.
Palo Alto/Cisco Firewalls, Cisco ACS and Cisco NAC
Cisco AP and bridges (stand alone and controller based) 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n standards, WLAN Antennas, Wireless.
L2/L3/Fast Roaming, WLAN security (“WEP”, WPA & WPA2/AES, 802.1 x, EAP, PEAP, LEAP, TKIP).
Cisco Wireless Mesh Networking, Cisco Unified Wireless networks, Wireless LAN Controllers and WISM blades, Cisco Wireless s Control system, Cisco MSE, NAC guest servers.
