Ensuring subordinate personnel responsibilities are discharge strictly in accordance with QGEC Quality Management System.
Organization of laboratory testing personnel to enable customers’ testing requirements to be fully completed to the agreed timescale.
Dissemination of testing documentation to laboratory personnel.
Control of sample identification and reporting numbers.
Ensuring reporting dates are adhered to and the timely preparation of reports.
Responsible for maintenance and calibration of equipment in coordination with the concerned person.
Calibrate the Laboratory instruments / Coordinate the Preventive Maintenance activities based on instruments Calibration.
Conduct Technical Assessment to his personnel.
Preparing Technical Reports arising from the laboratory.
Review of new Test Standard Methods and implementation by his supervision.
Ensure that all employees under his management are aware of all health and safety procedures and safe system of work.
Submission of samples to the Technicians for the testing.
Ensure that adequate supervision is given, particularly where young or inexperienced workers are concerned.
Follows Laboratory standard Safety rules and regulations.
Maintain the integrity of lab instruments and testing equipment, inform QA/QC Manager of test-related abnormalities, and Maintain good housekeeping in his testing area.
Calibrate Lab instruments according to the Calibration schedule as given in the Calibration status of the instruments.
To ensure smooth testing of the samples received for testing with strict adherence to the relevant standard as per the defined sampling schedule.
