Accountabilities :
Should be an expert in finding and identifying faults.
Guide technicians to work as per manufacturer recommended methods, using proper tools, instruments & equipment for each job as mentioned in the workshop manual.
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanism, wheel bearings, look for aged hoses and drive belts, coolant and oil leaks, instruct/perform appropriate repairs to ensure that the vehicle is fit for operation until next schedule. Guide technicians in adjusting, repairing or replacing, parts and components of automotive systems including fuel, brake, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling, using hand tools and another specialized automotive repair equipment.
Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.
Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications.
Have good physical strength, the willingness to continually learn over their career and good interpersonal skills.
Must examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions. Adhere HSE rules & regulations.
Able to read and understand repair manuals and diagrams to fix the troubles. Knowledge of MS Office

Diploma in automobile/mechanical or equivalent.
5 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of modern vehicle
OEM and Preventive Maintenance
Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
