Pre-Press & Software Responsibilities.
Ability to adjust products designs and make it ready for printing
Efficient & experienced user pre-press software such as illustrator and photoshop.
Preview printing or press jobs before printing
Mockup preparation and development
Product & production cost estimation
Knowledge of product different material and the impact of these material on the production
Color management through production machine software
Tune machine settings for optimal and high-quality production
Production Responsibilities
Management and operation of digital printing & press production machines, including but not limited to the following, to ensure high quality digital production products (ex. Posters, Brochures, Banners, Cups, Flyers, Stickers, Business Cards, etc…).
Digital press & production Printers
UV Printers
Wide Format Printers
Die-cutting Machines
Hydraulic Cutters
Binder
Creaser
Laminator
Heat Press
Inventory management including but not limited to monitoring all substrates levels and consumables.
Coordination with substrate suppliers to ensure best quality substrates with most optimal cost.
Contact and follow-up with machines vendors/service team in case some of the machines became faulty.
Machines maintenance scheduling and supervision.
Determining quality control standards, overseeing production processes, re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary with internal and external stakeholders.
Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints.
Train new staff and operators to ensure the high-quality production standards are met.
Maintain a clean, lean work environment, including clean machines and always keep them free from dust.
Follow prioritization of jobs according to deadlines on work orders.
Solve quality problems and troubleshoot issue with machines support team.
Be proactive and learn how to operate all machines, shadow co-workers when possible.
Perform scheduled maintenance on printing equipment as required.
Keep work area clean and tidy, organize work orders, hardcopies, and samples.
Report all machine breakdowns immediately to direct supervisor Complete required production and quality reports as required, maintain logbooks.
Communicate and work with pre-press and sales staff as required.
Assist in Finishing Department, as required.
All other jobs assigned to you by any of the direct supervisors as per the business requirement Required
المهارات
Minimum Requirements:
3 years’ experience in design and production for t-shirts, gifts, packaging, printed media and 3D printed products.
Knowledge of offset and screen printing.
Knowledge of heat press & sublimation printing.
Knowledge in cutting machines (including die-cutting, cutting and laser cutting & engraving)
Knowledge in finishing (post-press) activities.
Being able to evaluate and compare color.
Being able to maintain and troubleshoot digital press & production machines
Experience in diverse marketing and branding products.
Ability to communicate in English Language both written and verbally.
Knowledge in pre-press computer software (ex. Illustrator, photoshop, etc…)
Above average Attention to detail
Knowledge of operating digital press & production machines listed under the Role Description section.
Customer facing & customer management experience
Must be a self-motivated worker with a desire to complete all work on a timely basis.
Contribute to continuous improvement program by offering suggestions and innovative ideas as well as following industry best practices Willing to work on a team with other employees in the collaboration or sharing of work.
Willingness to work overtime and long hours at a time to complete jobs or work requirements.
