Oversees the implementation of procedures, policies, and strategies of the warehouse department aiming to achieve the targeted annual plan.
Prepares the budget and annual plan for expenses and required resources.
Supervises the preparation of the budget for the warehouse department and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses.
Supervises and assists in receiving, marking, storing, and issuing merchandise.
Ensures effective communication with other departments and ensures providing daily needs for product movement.
Ensure implementation of warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations.
Sets the warehouses layout to enhance the efficiency of resources configuration
Ensures products are stored according to the regulations & guidelines of the country.
Seeks new ways to improve warehouse/stores efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Prepares the stocktaking plan and supervises all activities related to the stocktaking process.
Conducts studies to minimize the operating costs in warehouses.
Conducts studies to reduce the inventory to enhance the cash inflow.
Conducts studies to control and minimize the damages on the products.
المهارات
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree related to the field.
Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial position.
Knowledge of FMCG logistics operation and/or supply chain management
Working knowledge of inventory control and Warehouses procedures
Knowledge of warehouses layout
Knowledge of packaging operations
Thorough understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
