Senior QAQC/Material Engineer
Doha, Qatar

A. Qualifications
University degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field

B. Experience
Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programs; preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experience
Experience in quality control and quality assurance of sewerage, surface and water, drainage, outfalls, pump stations, treatment works, road, highways construction quality and control requirement;
Emphasis on Quality Assurance Specifications and Statistical Quality Control. Should be able to review and justify the material submissions, analyze laboratory and technical reports, carrying out acceptance sampling plans, testing and quality measures, ensuring the compliance with the project’s specifications.
Ability to prepare accurate QA/QC plans and can lead, cooperate, and motivate a project QA/QC team. Write clear, brief, and accurate technical reports.
Prepare, implement, and monitor the program quality plan to ensure the delivery of works that meet the required standards and specifications
Application of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution
Overall responsible for the Quality Control & Quality Assurance for all relevant activities within the Project Department
Implement Quality Management System
Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects
Well versed in quality improvement techniques, resolving issues, carrying out root cause analysis and non-conformance investigations
Responsible for preparing and establishing the Quality system procedures in line with ISO9001:2008 QMS Requirements
C. General
Must demonstrate and prove of experience in respect of the relevant international Standards for Quality Assurance procedure.
Candidates should participate in the all aspects for the project life cycle, from setting out, Designs, construction, testing and commissioning stage, with emphasis on data analysis, system testing, regression testing, and auditable documentation of results.
Knowledge of Qatar construction market
