Training coordinators assess the type of training needed, set-up training schedules for new hires and plan continuous training seminars for current workers. Those who focus on the janitorial industry provide training sessions for specialists, such as window cleaners, as well as for generalists who perform multiple cleaning duties. Training coordinators also evaluate the effectiveness of each training session through surveys and personnel assessment records.
Since janitorial work covers a broad range of cleaning specialties, training coordinators may have to acquire additional training materials. For example, some coordinators prefer to use training manuals that offer instructions about using specific cleaning agents. Other coordinators may find that video instruction provides better training, especially with using commercial grade cleaning equipment. Above all, coordinators must choose training materials that cover the information in a way that trainees will understand.

Bachelor’s degree in fields like business administration or related field.
Previous experience within the same field at least 3 years
English is mandatory
