Open Position : SAP Technical Consultant (Logistics / FICO)
Seeking a full time experienced and ambitious SAP Technical consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Must work closely with the SAP Logistics / FICO Functional Specialists to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP Procurement & Inventory module. The ABAP / Fiori Specialist adds value to the Process automation and make the paperless system through the knowledge of the programming experience with core SAP modules (Procurement, Finance & Operations).
Duties and responsibilities
Takes responsibility of developing complete business applications, processes automation, functionality improvements, systems customizations, custom reports, and integration with external systems, on SAP ERP platform.
Perform code review and single point of contact for all ABAP developments. Ability to co-ordinate and interact with multiple teams.
Write and validate the technical specification and able to create test scripts.
Responsible for Technical analysis, designing, reviews, Testing, and implementation of SAP developments, ranging from small enhancements to large projects.
Support business implementations by sharing best practice development skills. Assist initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
Work with the SAP Functional experts to facilitate incident & problem resolution and raise Incident in SAP OSS for any critical issues.
Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.
Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations.
Perform Debugging analysis and recommend solutions for Entire Company SAP processes.
Develop technical specifications and works with BASIS Consultant and functional experts to complete object development and testing.
Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational policies and standards. applies Company methodologies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science – or an equivalent foreign university degree
Minimum 5+ years of experience on SAP ABAP programming
At least Three full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live and support)

Skills:
Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP, UI5 Programming tools including report and Transaction creation, enhancements, Conversion Programs, and WDA Components
Strong understanding of ABAP dictionary components like Tables, Data Elements, Domains, Views, Structures, Search Help, and Lock Objects etc.
Extensively worked with ABAP Objects, BADI’s, BAPI’s, BTE’s and Enhancement Framework
Should have Experience on Workflows, Adobe form
Should have strong hands-on Experience on MM Modules Viz. Material management, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, finance and controlling.
Experience in SAP MM procure to pay, Inventory Management, Consumption Based Planning, Valuation account assignment, Logistics Invoice Verification, Integration with FI, SD.
Able to understand AS-IS process and prepare a document Gather information on various third-party interfaces d Data Mapping-Mapping the source data element for each data element in the target environment e Gap Analysis-finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes f Finalization of RICEFW inventory
Experience in end-to-end system configuration related to enterprise structure assignment, procure to pay, Inventory Management, Consumption Based Planning, Valuation account assignment, Logistics Invoice Verification, Integration with FI, SD, PP, QM TM b Should have worked on client facing role with rollout / Implementation / migration projects Exp in S/4 HANA is added advantage c SAP MM certified
Experience in fixed asset accounting Handling the financial statements for analysis and reporting and assisting with effective business planning and decision-making Experience in financial reporting and account.
Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service Fiori technologies viz. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REST-WS, OData Protocol and Data Conversions will be added advantage.
SAP ECC 6.0, EHP 8 Standard fiori application experience in logistics, HR, finance Modules and Fiori Mobile Platform
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Strong knowledge of industry best practices. (Automobile& logistics Industry Preferable)
