Sr. Quantity Surveyor / Sr. Estimator - INTERIOR FIT-OUT/JOINERY

Key Purpose:

· To prepare Cost Estimation - Detailed estimation for Carpentry and Joinery fit-out works.

Role & Responsibilities:

· To prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements

· Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

· Cross-check Clients’ BOQ against tender drawings and specifications.

· Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

· Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

· Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

· Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

· Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

· Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

المهارات
Should have a minimum of 8-10 years of fit-out experience, preferably with Architectural Degree or BSc in Interior Design or equivalent.

· Knowledge of different methods of measurement and cost analysis.

· Excellent computer skills, able to work with standard software programs 1 .e. Excel, Word, MS Project, Estimating specific software, etc.,

· Experience in material management

· Experience in managing and sourcing interior fit-out suppliers

· Good Knowledge of the Fit Out Suppliers & Sub Contractors in the local market & overseas

· Multi-tasking and ability to work with more than one project.

· Familiar with standard construction contract language, procedures, claims and variations, correspondence.

· Excellent written communications skills.

· Ability to work with a diverse multi-cultural workforce.

· Must be flexible enough to fit into a site based or Head Office
