الوصف الوظيفي The purpose of this role is to ensure effective financial and management accounting across the organisation by: the management and development of financial controls and systems within the Finance department and across the organisation Main duties and responsibilities Financial Controls 1. Taking responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the accounting and control information held in and reported from the organisation’s accounting systems 2. Supporting the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in developing and delivering the organisation’s financial and business strategy 3. Continuous review of financial, control and management information systems and procedures, implementing improvements across the organisation in consultation with the Director of Finance and Corporate Services 4. Updating, reviewing and documenting the organisation’s financial policies and procedures 5. Ensuring accuracy of financial and related information held outside the finance systems, such as by HR, membership, or in programme budgeting systems 6. Improving the systems surrounding all aspects of the organisation’s budgets, forecasts and business planning 7. Producing the quarterly management accounts and other reports as required for senior management and the Board 8. Preparing and analysing cashflow statements, income and expenditure accounts and balance sheet accounts 9. Assisting in the production of the draft year end accounts, supporting schedules and liaison with the auditors 10. Planning projects exploring potential problems or opportunities, ensuring that resources and staff are available to execute the project. Carrying out any necessary research, analysing it and concluding on that information 11. Support and advise staff on contractual and other ongoing arrangements with suppliers. Advice and Support to Delivery teams: 12. Assisting and supporting programme and project managers with the preparation of financial reports for funding applications and reports to funders. Compiling the financial information for inclusion in end of year grant claims, final claims and returns, and external grant audits 13. Developing and maintaining programme and project reporting and management systems as required 14. Providing financial management support for the organisation’s programme delivery and consulting activities 15. Supporting the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in the development of the organisation organisational and project budgets. Ensuring national and regional projects perform against budget by providing financial and monitoring reports, analyzing variances and addressing potential problems with budget holders and managers Management Responsibilities: 16. Providing management direction and development support to the Finance Officer and responsibility for the performance management of the finance team 17. Providing advice, support and training on financial issues to the organisation staff directly, or to members through the organisation programmes on a consultancy basis 18. General Staff Responsibilities To work in harmony with the organisations vision and values المهارات CIMA/ACA/ACCA or CIPFA qualification or qualified by experience First hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting An understanding and empathy with the community enterprise movement Core Competencies 1.
