Research and analyze data and market insights
Search for insights into consumer needs and wants
Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories
Design exit strategies for unsuccessful products
Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors
Place appropriate orders
Ensure product availability
Strategize positioning of a product category in order to maximize its visibility
Collaborate with the marketing team
Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities
Work with customers and merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categories
Calculate forecasts for product demand trends
Manage and track budget
المهارات
Must be a techno commercial person
Hands-on experience of dealing with Bakery production of – Breads, Cakes & Pastries – Western essential, Arabic & Indian would be an added advantage
Knowledgeable of the ingredients used in a Bakery & their specification & utility
Should have Category Management Skills of Inventory Planning & Management
Experience in customer interaction especially with Bakery & pastry Chefs to promote business development across different channels from premium hotel bakeries to industrial ones
Good understanding of supply chain
Costing & Pricing of product with respect to market & competitor activity is another critical requirement
Vendor Management & product scouting is another essential requirement
Training of the sales team
