Title: System Administrator (01)
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the infrastructure environment; including providing services regarding LAN/WAN connectivity, employee environment set up, server room setup, and cloud servers.
Perform installation, maintenance, configuration, and administration of company systems, and support application the business might need.
Handle VPN connection between various offices and locations.
Perform system monitoring activities, including verify availability of all hardware, server resources and systems.
Ensure completion of scheduled jobs, e.g. backup, Help tickets, etc.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues reported through Help Ticketing system.
Stay up to date with system administration new technologies and developments and recommend best practices/solutions in alignment with company IT operations plan.
Qualifications, Education Technical Skills Requirements
4-5 years of experience in system administration
B.Sc. degree in Computer Science/Engineering or another relevant field
Very good in server administration, active directory, networking, and other business support systems and windows clients
Excellent Knowledge in networking including, WAN, LAN, Firewalls
Knowledge in basic concepts of ITIL
Knowledge in basic concepts of Linux, MSSQL server
Flexible and able to work under pressure
Team worker
Willingness to learn
Can work under minimum supervision
Title: System Administrator (02)
Role and Responsibilities
PC, Laptops and servers support, new hire systems setups, and desktop/laptop software evaluations and upgrades.
Answer employees, visitors, and client’s inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
Refer hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
Request Quotation for new devices purchasing including negotiation, delivery, and installation.
Local server’s backup using Backup Exec. and for retention data as requested.
Antivirus updates and virus cleaning, installation, upgrade, and maintenance.
Fingerprints and attendance system add/remove new fingerprints, update the reports, keep the database integrity accurate and secure.
Manage Mailing system, Add/Remove/Update, and maintenance.
Monitoring Local area network and responds to alerts.
Provide any help to the system administrator either locally or remotely to perform specific task or request with high priority.
Develop training materials and technical manuals and train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
Prepare evaluations for software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Own the hardware and software inventory, Licenses, and passwords.
Internet Links and phone PBX monitor, troubleshooting, fixing, and upgrading.
Qualifications, Education Technical Skills Requirements
1 to 2 years’ experience in this field.
University degree in computer science / programming or related majors.
Excellent knowledge in all standard Computer hardware and software.
Able to deal with “technology ignorant” business users in very nice and professional way.
Teamwork oriented, self-motivated, and self-developing
Very Good commands in English communications.
Microsoft Certification in any of the above subjects is a plus
